Olivia Watson Tarnowski serves as the Assistant Director for Student Programs in Business Career Services in the Walker College of Business. Her role is to lead the Walker Fellows program while developing and coordinating programs that support students’ professional and career development. She also works with marketing and communications for Business Career Services to help increase awareness of career resources, programs, and opportunities available to Walker College of Business students. She is passionate about helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and feel prepared to pursue their professional and personal goals.
As a two-time Appalachian State graduate and current doctoral student, returning to Appalachian in this role is especially meaningful to Olivia, as the university has been an important part of both her personal and professional journey. She is grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community that shaped her while helping students build meaningful experiences and connections. In her free time she likes to spend time outdoors, to travel, and to cheer on Chelsea Football Club.
