Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel-Hertford County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Accounting Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting overall raw materials; create spreadsheets and prepare reports to provide accurate and timely information for financial and inventory analysis; prepare correspondence and other written documents; assist with other accounting duties such as month-end close, intercompany, payroll, tax schedules, special projects, and financial reporting. Willingness to work both holidays and weekends when needed is a requirement of this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in accounting or currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in accounting

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in accounting
  • Manufacturing Cost Experience
