Business Career Services and the Brantley Risk and Insurance Center want to notify you that Walker Business Connections originally scheduled for Thursday, October 3, 2024 has been cancelled. All associated events relating to the fair including the VIP Networking Social and formal interviews have been cancelled as well.
The safety of our students, faculty, staff, campus community and employer partners are of top priority. Access to Western North Carolina is limited and travel is not advised at this time. Many roads are closed and need to remain clear so emergency services and road crews can continue their work to conduct repairs and rescues. Our teams are working diligently to develop a new plan for Walker Business Connections. We will communicate with you once we have more information.
The App State and High Country community have suffered catastrophic impacts at this time. Emergency and rescue teams are working tirelessly to assess and support those in need. Thank you to those that have reached out. Many have generously asked how they can support our students, faculty and staff. A Disaster Relief Fund has been established for those who wish to help.
