The purpose of the Presidents’ Roundtable is to support the WCOB in its mission to prepare and inspire students to be ethical, innovative, and engaged business leaders who positively impact our community both locally and globally. We accomplish this by enhancing the club leadership experience and providing opportunities for academic and personal growth.
Goals
- Promote fellowship and collaboration between clubs and organizations within the WCOB.
- Empower clubs and student organizations to meet their goals and objectives.
- Offer exclusive professional development experiences to club and organization leaders.
- Encourage all business students to be active in WCOB clubs and student organizations.
Expectations
- Maintain a major and good standing within the WCOB.
- Assure attendance and engagement for all PRT meetings.
- Strengthen collaboration by sharing organizational updates with PRT regularly.
- Support fellow club leaders by sharing advice to help each other succeed.
- Model professionalism in and outside of the WCOB.

The Presidents’ Roundtable is one of the best programs at the WCOB. It’s both a great reward and an incentive for being part of a leadership team. We are able to gain exclusive access to industry leaders, events, and professional development opportunities. Members are able to put their best foot forward and make the most of their time before heading into professional industries. What makes PRT even more worthwhile is getting to meet, network, and collaborate with all the other student leaders. This has been one of the most significant programs that Business Career Services offers.

- The Office of Community-Engaged Leadership (CEL) offers programs that enhance your capacity to lead responsibly, providing opportunities for your club to benefit local and global communities.
- Counseling & Psychological Services offers support for emotional and mental health needs, ensuring resources are available for students in your club.
- Wellness & Prevention Services focuses on fostering healthy behaviors and offers resources to support the well-being of your club members.
- Sustainability and Energy Management assists with integrating sustainable practices into your club’s activities, promoting environmentally responsible initiatives.
The Presidents’ Roundtable provides student leaders with opportunities to sharpent heir skills and gain insight into what it takes to lead effectively. Through its professional development series, VIP networking events, and Walker Business Connection previews, members get access to meet many industry professionals. This helps us expand our network, gain valuable knowledge, and apply leadership skills to our daily lives. PRT also offers incentives for participation, such as club advertisements through email marketing, invitations for entire clubs to attend VIP networking events, and special access to events. Overall, the PRT empowers clubs and student organizations to achieve their goals.
