Student Programs
Student programs within Business Career Services offer Walker College of Business students meaningful opportunities for professional development and personal growth. Through leadership experiences, mentorship, networking, and skills‑based programming, these initiatives help students build confidence, strengthen their career readiness, and connect with a supportive community that enhances their success both inside and outside the classroom.
Women of Walker
The Women of Walker program is a recommendation-based student program designed to prepare students with essential skills needed for success in pursuing a career in business. Furthermore, the skills and knowledge acquired through this program can be applied to all facets of being a contributing member to one’s career and personal communities.
Walker Fellows
As ambassadors of the Walker College of Business, the Walker Fellows serve as positive representatives to all constituents of the Walker College, and enhance the overall collegiate experience by fostering relationships with students. They are often “the face” of the Walker College of Business at WCOB Events, including all pre-admissions events.
Presidents’ Roundtable
The Presidents’ Roundtable supports the WCOB in its mission to prepare and inspire students to be ethical, innovative, and engaged business leaders who positively impact our community both locally and globally. They accomplish this by enhancing the club leadership experience and providing opportunities for academic and personal growth.
