Welcome to Walker Spring Connect 2025! Thank you for joining us for our annual signature spring career event. 

A Word About Sustainability-
This year we are taking an initiative to reduce our carbon footprint and host a sustainable event to support our Walker College of Business strategic plan. We plan to reduce paper waste and will not be providing printed materials or prepared nametags. Please bring your company issued name tag with you. We will have our printer on hand to print name tags if necessary.

Material Drop-Off Instructions

Event check-in will be available from 9:00 am until 11:45 am. Prior to parking, you may drop off display items at the loading dock of the Holmes Convocation Center. There will be a sign to designate this area and a student will be available to take your things inside to your table and then you can move your car.

Parking

Parking will be divided between a few different parking lots. Please go to the Holmes Parking Deck first and if overflow parking is required, you will be directed to the Rivers Street Deck or Hill Street Lot. Employer shuttles will be available all day and rotating through all parking lots. The shuttles will run between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm. Holmes Drive Parking Deck is our primary parking lot but will likely fill up. Please arrive early to avoid being sent to the overflow parking. Overflow parking instructions will be given when you arrive if necessary.

Shuttling

  • Rivers street to Holmes: Employer shuttles will run from the Rivers Street deck to the Holmes Convocation Center continuously from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm. The shuttle will drop off at the corner of Hill Street and Rivers Street. 
  • Peacock to Holmes: Shuttles will run from the Peacock Hall circle to the Holmes Convocation Center from 12:30 pm - 4:30pm. The shuttle will drop off at the corner of Hill Street and Rivers Street.

Check-In and Itinerary

Check-in will be located inside Holmes Convocation Center. Staff will be outside Holmes to direct you to check-in.

Please bring your company issued name tag with you. If you do not have your company name tag we will have our printer on hand to print name tags at check-in if necessary.

Hospitality Lounge and Lunch

  • Hospitality Lounge

    • Coffee and refreshments will be provided in the Employer Hospitality area near the loading dock from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.

  • Lunch 

    • Employer lunch will be served between 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on the Holmes Convocation Center Concourse. 

    • The lunch area can be accessed through the ticket office elevator or steps. It will be hosted on the 2nd floor concourse. 

    • Employer lunch will be served between 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the Holmes Convocation Center in the Hospitality Lounge. Lunch for the day will be Grilled & Chilled Salad with locally sourced grilled chicken and shrimp. It will be served with a yeast roll, Italian pasta salad, and freshly baked cookies. It will be set up in a buffet style so you can prepare your meal according to your dietary preferences and needs.

    • Student sustainability amabassadors will be present to help you compost, recycle, and dispose of your lunch. Thank you for helping us make this a zero waste event!

Material Breakdown

  • At the end of the event please pack up all of your materials and dispose of all of your trash. If you have multiple representatives with you, we recommend that one representative takes your materials to the loading dock while the other takes the shuttle to pick up your car from the Rivers Street deck. If you can carry your materials on the shuttle to the parking deck you are welcome to do that. 

  • If you are shipping out materials, you must have a prepaid shipping label and you must package your materials and secure the box and the label. We will collect items to ship out and they will be shipped out in the afternoon on Wednesday, March 6th. If you need items to be shipped out earlier than that, please plan to take them to a shipping location on your own prior to leaving campus.
