This highly self-motivated position is responsible for adding and retaining gas load within the residential and commercial customer base by selling natural gas appliances, products, and services provided by Dominion Energy North Carolina. Job duties include initiating contact with potential customers to promote the use of natural gas as the preferred energy source, recommending expansion of natural gas lines in existing subdivisions, providing quality customer service, public relations, and meeting corporate, established sales targets. The Gas Appliance Sales Representative serves as a central point of contact between the Company and our customers. Responsibilities also include contacting individuals who have not previously expressed interest in the offered products or services and visiting customers in their homes for sales calls.
This Intern position will report to Dominion Energy North Carolina’s Energy Center facility in Cary, North Carolina.
Candidates will be interested in working the Gas Distribution organization at Dominion Energy and would be willing to work in/relocate to North Carolina.
