Central Transport, LLC, is seeking an Entry Level Field Pricing Supervisor for our Atlanta, GA facility. We are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual. This is an excellent position for someone with a "Hunter" mentality.
The shift is 11pm-9am Monday - Friday (Saturday morning) This position is responsible for conducting audits on freight and driver compliance locally and at a regional level. The ideal candidate should possess:
- Must be able to work in a non-temperature controlled open air dock platform in all weather conditions (hot or cold)
- Must be able to stand, bend, and walk frequently on a concrete dock surface subject to dust or other debris as needed to inspect shipments
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations necessary for role
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and learn quickly
- High aptitude for technology and basic computer skills
- The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented
- Willingness to travel
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing dimensional, skid stop, operational and safety audits for compliance
- Maintaining reports for all audits preformed
- Reviewing over dimension/capacity shipments to ensure appropriate tariff items
- Working with local and regional management to maintain compliance
- Willing to work night shifts and/or varied hours
- Traveling as necessary for special projects and regional operational and safety audits
