Essential Job Functions
This position reports to and supports the Director of Education Abroad within of Office of International Education and Development and has responsibility for the complex budget function, insurance function, and provides student and faculty support. Position will also provide some administrative support to the Assistant Director.

The position must communicate internally and externally with Special Funds Accounting, Student Accounts, Faculty, Students, Parents, Controller’s office and Purchasing (P-Cards). Financial information is gathered from student applications, BannerFinance, BannerStudent, and insurance vendors. The position create spreadsheets of data from a variety of sources to justify and defend programming details to students, faculty and parents and for assessment of office functions.

This position fills a crucial role in supporting the accounting and budgeting processes in the education abroad team. These skills and abilities are essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree and/or experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Experience and skill in creating and maintaining databases
