Internships are valuable, relevant experiences that can lead to a full time job or job opportunities. We advise students to have at least one internship, even if it is not for academic credit.
Please contact the faculty internship advisor for your department to find out the requirements for earning credit:
- Plan ahead! You can't get approval at the last minute and you can't get retroactive credit for an internship.
- A 6 credit internship is a 10 week, full time experience.
- Meet with WCOB Advising so you know if your internship credit fits your plan. Don't pay for credits you don't need!
- Attend Walker Business Connections and Walker Spring Connect to find internship opportunities!
